Jessomine Border Collies are located at the scenic Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Australia. 

Established in 2002, we strive for healthy, happy dogs with great temperaments and structure.  Whilst focusing on breeding the best "redheads", colour is not the determining factor of our breeding program.  We aim to produce sound border collies that maintain the distinctic drive and work ability that has become the trademark of the "shepherd's" loyal companion. Keeping this in mind, we have DNA tested, hip and elbow scored all our breeding stock to ensure that we are remaining true to improving without comprising the nature of of this wonderful, driven, but playful and loyal breed.

We have been involved with this absolutely wonderful breed for 17 years.  All our dogs are raised in the home environment with lots of exposure to a varity of situations that they may encounter in their lives.  We don't have kennels and our "kids" have been raised with our human kids ensuring that the canine kids learn how to behave appropriately around young children.

Our kennel is named after our beloved Jess, who left us for the rainbow bridge in late 2006.  A more loyal and loveable introduction to border collies could not have been asked for.  She was our faithful friend and companion and reluctant grandma to our litters. Jess was our first introduction to border collies and boy, what an introduction!  How we wish that we had have known about puppy pre-school and obedience back in those days - Jess showed us what not to do.  She had the softest of natures, and we feel blessed that she graced our lives and brought a smile to our faces each morning that she was with us.
